About The Position

The Floor Person is responsible for understanding the entire process, equipment, and all positions on the production line to fill in as needed. This role ensures the line is clean and operating correctly at all times, maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness according to plant GMP policies. The individual will physically inspect products for both natural and processing defects, such as bruises, blood spots, foreign material, and out-of-spec product. They must also identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their supervisor, including potential product tampering, willful adulteration, unauthorized access to restricted areas, or equipment malfunctions that could compromise product safety.

Requirements

Must be able to fill in as needed.
Must make sure the line is clean and running properly at all times.
Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.
Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.

Responsibilities

Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.
Report product tampering.
Report willful product adulteration.
Report unauthorized employees in restricted areas.
Report situations where product adulteration may be occurring.
Report equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake.
