About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the production facility and adhering to General Manufacturing Policies. Team members must follow Sara Lee Frozen Bakery's policies, procedures, SQF 2000, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Global Business Standards. This includes ensuring all inedible items are removed to designated areas, and that supplies, tools, non-authorized materials, trash, and cardboard are cleared from work areas. The position may also involve cross-training on other machines or in different areas.

Requirements

Must have a forklift license.
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willing to work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, hair/beard net, hearing protection, and rubber boots with safety toe.
Willing to climb up and down stairs to enter/exit the production area.
Walks over boot scrubbers prior to entering work areas.
Willing to withstand cold and hot environments.
Willing to work 8-12 hour shifts which include standing, walking, and consistent movements.

Responsibilities

Remove trash and food from waste containers.
Dump trash in the trash compactor and food in the correct compactor (requires forklift license).
Remove debris from the floors.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas and follow General Manufacturing Policies.
Ensure all inedible items are picked up and taken to designated areas.
Ensure all supplies, tools, and other non-authorized materials are removed, along with trash and cardboard from the area.
Perform additional tasks as needed, including cross-training on other machines and/or in other areas.
