About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining operational sanitation throughout Plant 2. The Floor Person Labor cleans floors periodically during operations; sprays and sanitizes doors, panels, handrails, and similar surfaces; wipes condensation from the ceiling; follows clean room department procedures; separates crumbs and floor loss into different barrels; and refills the foot bath and hand dip. Other duties may be assigned. The role is on the first shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals, including chlorine and Quat.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and climb to perform cleaning.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Clean the floor periodically during operations.
• Spray and sanitize doors, panels, handrails, and similar surfaces.

• Understand and follow clean room department procedures.
• Keep crumbs and floor loss in separate barrels.
• Refill the foot bath and hand dip.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
