About The Position

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Floor Coordinator for our Red Deer store located at 5250 22 St. This role is responsible for managing in-store warehouse operations, including receiving and preparing product, managing inventory levels, and overseeing warehouse staff. The Floor Coordinator also assists with visual merchandising, maintains store cleanliness, and participates in inventory counts.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent skills and experience is preferred.
One to two years of experience in inventory or warehouse.
High attention to detail.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs.
Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
Be physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
Safety footwear is required.
Criminal Record Check is required.

Responsibilities

Receive product, product returns, accessories and supplies and prepare outbound shipments.
Prepare product for delivery or floor placement.
Load and unload freight trailers.
Ensure the store floor inventory is at capacity by category and per established goals.
Create and manage transfers of product in and out of store.
Update reports with storage location, available inventory, and open transfer reports.
Hire and oversees the in-store warehouse operations including supervision of warehouse staff.
Assists visual presentation team when in-store on display set-ups.
Prints and maintains floor tags, set up P.O.P. (Point of Purchase).
Maintains cleanliness of store and grounds.
Assists with quarterly inventory counts/reconciliations.
Other duties as required.
