About The Position

HHM Facility Management is seeking a Floor Care Technician to provide maintenance services at the AMSC location in Greenville, South Carolina. The technician maintains facility floors and common areas to the standards established in the customer’s scope of work. Duties include cleaning carpets and mopping, stripping, waxing, and polishing hard-surface floors. The role may also involve minor repairs, supply-room upkeep, biohazard cleanup, and trash removal. The position is full-time, with negligible travel; technicians may travel to multiple customer locations during a day.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of floor-care experience.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

Mop, strip, wax, and polish hard-surface floors and clean carpets.
Operate powered floor-care equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners.
Perform general cleaning in building common areas.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
Keep the supply room neat and orderly and ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
Perform biohazard cleanup and remove trash as needed.
Move furniture and use equipment such as golf carts, vacuum cleaners, leaf blowers, and fogging machines.
Assist in examining the facility for safety hazards and needed services, and report deficiencies to a supervisor.
Secure issued keys and security badges.
Maintain customer and company confidentiality.
Maintain professional and courteous relationships with coworkers and the customer.
Travel to multiple customer locations during the day as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
