About The Position

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Woodbury, Minnesota to help maintain a large retail facility. The role involves caring for hard floors and carpets, operating floor care equipment, and helping keep the facility clean, safe, and ready for customers. Hands-on training and support are provided, and prior floor care experience is not required.

This position pays $16.00 per hour, with weekly pay every Friday. The schedule is 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, 32 hours per week, four days a week, with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off. Weekend availability is required. The position is described as direct-hire and offers a stable work environment and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, floor care, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply; English fluency is not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete cleaning projects independently and efficiently.
