About The Position

The Floor Care Technician performs floor care cleaning services, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties in accordance with client and company standards. The role requires timely, effective, and high-quality work, punctuality, safe practices, and adherence to company floor care procedures. The technician maintains floor care equipment and completes assignments thoroughly to support customer satisfaction. The technician follows client and Servicon safety programs, uses required personal protective equipment, and performs work such as hard-floor stripping and refinishing, carpet care and extraction, and operation of specialized floor care equipment. The role also includes inspecting completed work, keeping supplies and equipment ready for use, reporting equipment malfunctions, and tracking inventory and equipment utilization. Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Extensive floor care product knowledge.
Working knowledge of multiple hard-floor surfaces, such as marble, granite, and VCT.
Working knowledge of carpet-cleaning procedures, including shampooing, extracting, and bonneting.
Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
Time-management skills.
Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and follow up.
Follow applicable client and company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of floor technician experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

Follow client and Servicon safety programs, promote safety among team members, and wear required personal protective equipment.
Perform floor care, including stripping and refinishing hard-surface floors, carpet care and extraction, and operating specialized floor care equipment.
Perform window cleaning and general janitorial duties according to client and company standards.
Complete assignments as directed and in compliance with Servicon floor care procedures and processes.
Inspect assigned areas during and after work to verify compliance with site-specific procedures and the client’s Scope of Work.
Keep supplies stocked and equipment clean and in good operating order; promptly report malfunctioning equipment.
Track inventory and equipment, provide feedback to the direct manager, and monitor utilization for efficient and cost-effective use.
Complete work in a timely, effective, and detailed manner to support customer satisfaction.
