About The Position

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring a flexible, on-call Fitness Floor Attendant for a client fitness center in Warsaw, Indiana. The role provides exercise-floor supervision and involves interacting with members and program participants. The attendant supports members, helps maintain a safe and welcoming fitness environment, and assists with front-desk and facility operations. This is an as-needed position with flexible hours. Compensation is $16–$20 per hour; the final wage offer depends on factors including location, qualifications, experience, and skill set.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or the American Safety & Health Institute are required.
Ability to lift up to 40-pound weights for restacking.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
Ability to organize and prioritize work demands effectively.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.
Must meet hiring requirements, including a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Prior fitness and customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Interact with participants and monitor equipment and participant safety.
Welcome members, greet them, answer questions, respond to requests at the front desk, and enter data into the membership system.
Perform facility maintenance, ensuring the facility, equipment, and locker rooms are clean and stocked.
Understand and execute emergency medical procedures throughout the facility.
Demonstrate and instruct members on the proper use of exercise equipment.
