Registered Nurse (RN) Visit Nurse – Multi -Territory Float, Flexible Field Role
About The Position
This role is different from traditional nursing positions that may feel like survival mode due to constant pressure and high patient ratios. As a Floating Visit Nurse, you start your day from home, plan your own route, and see one patient at a time. This allows for the space to think, assess, and provide care as trained. The role offers 1:1 patient care, freedom to structure your day in the field, less burnout compared to hospital or clinic settings, a mix of consistency and variety with floating territories, and the opportunity to enjoy the drive and reset between visits. Home Health Care, Inc. operates alongside other home health agencies but focuses on the nurse experience with better communication, support, and more realistic expectations.
Requirements
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong clinical judgment and independence.
- Comfortable working in a field-based role.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing visits in homes and community settings.
- Perform assessments, wound care, and medication management.
- Educate patients and families with clarity and compassion.
- Collaborate with RN Case Managers and the care team.
- Float to nearby territories to support patient needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
