The Floating Superintendent provides hands-on maintenance and operational support across multiple residential buildings and is responsible for executing repairs, assisting with preventative maintenance, and supporting building operations under the direction of site leadership. Unlike a site-based Superintendent, the Floating Superintendent does not hold primary responsibility for any individual building and does not carry full accountability for building systems, compliance, or operational outcomes. This role is execution-focused and is designed to support site Superintendents and Program Directors by increasing maintenance capacity, reducing work order backlog, and assisting with operational needs across the portfolio. This role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. The Floating Superintendent does not operate from a fixed site and may be assigned to different buildings daily, including multiple locations within the same day. The ability to take direction, shift priorities quickly, and operate effectively in a changing environment is essential to success in this role.
