About The Position
We are seeking an engaging, energetic Floating Leasing Consultant responsible for general leasing and supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of operations. The consultant must be willing to work across Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- At least 2 years of prior leasing experience.
- Valid driver's license and an insured, operable vehicle.
- At least 2 years of property management experience.
- Marketing savvy and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Experience at larger properties is strongly preferred.
- Yardi or industry-related software experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Show and lease available apartments.
- Post and monitor advertisements daily.
- Answer the telephone and use professional leasing techniques.
- Understand the market area where the community is located and stay up to date on market conditions.
- Keep accurate records of resident and property activities.
- Process applicant paperwork, including applications, proof of income, credit checks, and background checks, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct move-ins for new residents.
- Collect and record rents and deposits.
- Comply with Fair Housing Laws.
- Perform additional functions requested by the Community Manager.
