About The Position

Participates in the development and coordination of training programs for members, which enhance Quality of Life and increase independence. Provide direct supervision and training to members utilizing normalization principles.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • minimum two years of college in psychology, special education, or human services field preferred.
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains program standards of operation and development.
  • Ensures members’ health, safety and welfare, including appropriate medication administration.
  • Ensures compliance with SAP policies and procedures in regard to member and program funds.
  • Maintains appropriate staff/member interactions.
  • Ensures compliance with the annual Individual Habilitation Plan process for members.
  • Ensures compliance with the Agency’s Periodic Service Review and other quality assurance programs.
  • Ensures compliance with CAU Policies and Procedures, SAP Policies and Procedures, and licensing requirements.
  • Provides appropriate direct supports to members.
  • Cooperates with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigation.
  • Maintains Carelogic expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
  • All other duties as assigned.
