About The Position

The Floating Commercial & Property Porter will be a part of the SOS Team (Support Operations Specialists). This team is responsible for floating management, leasing, and maintenance support across the entire residential portfolio. As an SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter, you will gain experience working with teams of all sizes and neighborhoods ranging from 100 to 1,000 units. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities for growth. You will be empowered to solve problems creatively and supported by a collaborative team. The SOS Commercial & Neighborhood Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, physical appearance, and curb appeal of residential and commercial neighborhoods, ensuring that Neighbors and commercial residents feel at home, well-cared for, and proud to live in the community.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty quickly and efficiently without supervisor.
Ability to function effectively in a customer service environment.
Ability to communicate and understand the primary languages used in the workplace, including English, to maintain safety and serve customers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, to reach with arms, and to talk or hear.
Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and visual acuity.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

Perform custodial duties.
Support operations specialists in management, leasing, and maintenance across the residential portfolio.
