Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, we manage over 4,000 units and aim to expand to 10,000 by 2030. As a Floating Assistant Community Manager at LSA Management, you will support all operational duties of the Community Manager, including reporting, rent processing, leasing, marketing, and overseeing the community in the Community Manager's absence. You will play a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction and community profitability, working closely with senior leadership to align community goals with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • 3+ years of Leasing experience in a Multifamily environment
  • Solid computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel, internet, email)
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years as an Assistant Community Manager preferred
  • Affordable Housing leasing experience
  • Working knowledge of Yardi and/or RealPage Property Management software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support all operational duties of the Community Manager, including reporting, rent processing, leasing, and marketing.
  • Oversee the community in the Community Manager's absence.
  • Ensure resident satisfaction and community profitability.
  • Align community goals with company objectives.
  • Manage leads, follow up with prospects, and close leases.
  • Process rental applications, secure deposits, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements.
  • Coordinate move-ins and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
  • Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction on maintenance service requests.
  • Assist in planning and hosting resident appreciation and retention events.
  • Assist with rent collection and posting payments.
  • Learn procedures for addressing unpaid rent and communicating with residents about outstanding balances.
