About The Position

As a Floating Assistant Community Manager at LSA Management, you will support all operational duties of the Community Manager, including reporting, rent processing, leasing, marketing, and overseeing the community in the Community Manager's absence. You will play a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction and community profitability, working closely with senior leadership to align community goals with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • 3+ years of Leasing experience in a Multifamily environment
  • Affordable Housing leasing experience
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends based on business needs
  • Solid computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel, internet, email)
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years as an Assistant Community Manager preferred
  • Working knowledge of Yardi and/or RealPage Property Management software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage leads, follow up with prospects, and close leases.
  • Process rental applications, secure deposits, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements.
  • Coordinate move-ins and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
  • Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction on maintenance service requests.
  • Assist in planning and hosting resident appreciation and retention events.
  • Assist with rent collection and posting payments.
  • Learn procedures for addressing unpaid rent and communicating with residents about outstanding balances.
