About The Position
As a part-time Wegmans pharmacist, you will work closely with leaders and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a distinctive pharmacy experience. The pharmacy is presented as a place where customers can trust they will receive high-quality service related to their health. The role requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability, including weekends, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Requirements
- Pharmacist state license; licensing in multiple states may be required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- Certified Pharmacist Immunizer.
- AED and CPR certified.
- Computer skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Certified in a disease state.
Responsibilities
- Answer, assess, and listen to customer questions, needs, and concerns while showing empathy in sensitive situations.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems.
- Counsel customers on prescriptions, sharing pertinent information to support successful and confident at-home medication use.
- Perform all necessary workflow steps accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products.
- Comply with federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, and follow company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
