About The Position
At Wegmans, the pharmacy is a destination where customers can trust they will receive excellent service for their health. In this part-time role, the pharmacist works closely with leaders and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a distinctive pharmacy experience.
Requirements
- Hold a pharmacist state license; licensing in multiple states may be required.
- Have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- Be a Certified Pharmacist Immunizer.
- Be AED and CPR certified.
- Have computer skills.
- Be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in a disease state.
Responsibilities
- Answer, assess, and listen to customer questions, needs, and concerns while showing empathy in sensitive situations.
- Strive to exceed expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems.
- Counsel customers on prescriptions, sharing relevant information to support successful and confident at-home medication use.
- Perform all necessary workflow steps accurately and efficiently so customers receive error-free products.
- Comply with federal, state, and HIPAA regulations and follow company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
