About The Position
Quality Supports for Individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Since 1990. This is a FULL TIME DSP FLOATER position with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 5-day work week, Tuesday-Saturday, with shifts between 2pm-11pm. Floaters work in varying locations and must have the flexibility to adjust assigned locations as needed with little to no notice, though days worked will remain consistent. The main office is located in St. Charles, MO, and client homes are throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles County area.
Requirements
- 1+ Years Full Time experience supporting individuals with I/DD is required.
- Floaters must be able to work in all homes throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License, car insurance and reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass all background checks and classes required.
- Current CPR/FA and Level 1 Med Administration Certs

Responsibilities
- Complete all required documentation to include medication record, daily notes, progress on client goals and outcomes, and financial transactions.
- Support each individual so that s/he will feel a sense of self-determination, security, and have an opportunity to have meaningful relationships with others in their community.
- Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care/hygiene, household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served.
- Floaters are responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians.
