About The Position

RISE Services, a nonprofit human services organization, is seeking a full time Coordinator willing and able to provide support to adults with developmental disabilities or mental health needs. This position involves overseeing the daily operation and quality assurance of the program, working collaboratively to strategize and implement plans to meet individual needs, and supervising, scheduling, training, and working direct care hours alongside Direct Support Professionals. The role also includes preparing and monitoring budgets, coordinating with state agencies, and scheduling and ensuring the completion of activities and skill development goals. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist with social and community activities and be on-call.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or comparable supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a person-centered philosophy.
• Must be dedicated to quality supports for individuals.
• Must be self-motivated, honest, dependable and flexible.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work independently as well as being committed to work with a team.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities/mental health needs and related field experience preferred.
• Must have a valid I.D.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.

Responsibilities
