About The Position

Connex Credit Union is seeking diverse talent motivated to improve the financial well-being of others. As a Float Teller, you will serve as a front-line member service representative, facilitating daily transactions and identifying opportunities to enhance members' financial lives through Connex's products and services. You will consistently meet referral goals, including Connex products and credit report reviews. This role requires courtesy, accuracy, and a personable demeanor, whether interacting face-to-face or via Personal Teller Machines. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional and efficient branch, adhering to security protocols, balancing cash drawers, and fostering a positive work environment. The position may involve transfers to other locations as deemed necessary by Connex.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • No experience required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the branch environment
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • High degree of responsibility and integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Continued education through selected training courses
  • Flexible about work hours and shifts to accommodate business and member needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a front line member service representative.
  • Facilitate members' daily transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve a member’s financial life utilizing Connex’s products and services.
  • Consistently meet referral goals for Connex products and member credit report reviews.
  • Perform transactions accurately and courteously, whether face-to-face or via Personal Teller Machines.
  • Maintain a professional and efficient branch.
  • Follow all security protocols.
  • Balance personal cash drawers and the vault in the absence of the Service Coordinator.
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of products and services to make proper recommendations and referrals.
  • Deliver superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and think independently to resolve member issues.
  • Meet goals consistently and contribute to the fulfillment of all Connex Credit Union goals.
  • Project a professional and friendly image at all times, including a positive attitude, composure, and a clear, energetic, and welcoming speaking voice.
  • Foster a positive work environment with fellow staff.
