This role involves directing co-workers and delegating appropriate tasks, providing quality nursing care with a family-centered approach, and educating patients and families from admission through discharge. The nurse is responsible for thorough, concise, accurate, and legible documentation, collaborating with physicians and team members for smooth transitions of care, and safely administering medications and treatments. Additionally, the nurse ensures compliance with FMC policies and procedures and that equipment and supplies are available, reporting any malfunctions.
