This Float RN position is a 0.2 FTE role, requiring 8 hours per week, with an on-site requirement on Mondays. The role involves travel to various PPMM locations and requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned region weekly. The Float RN will be responsible for overseeing patient triage, ensuring non-licensed staff competency in back office/lab skills, and contributing to health center productivity goals. Specific duties include preparing the recovery room, administering pre-operative and post-operative medications, providing intraoperative sedation, and monitoring patients. The role also involves patient education for medication abortions, providing immunizations, and handling lab reports for follow-up care. Additionally, the Float RN will provide triage services via phone and the Patient Portal, identifying medical urgency and scheduling appointments.
