About The Position
We are seeking dedicated Float Pool Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Float Pool RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across various units within the facility and potentially at sister locations. This position requires shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every other weekend. The RN should be prepared for a floating requirement among different units and facilities.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid nursing license.
- Must work 2 out of the 3 major holidays.
Nice To Haves
- No specific bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in diverse clinical settings.
- Serve as the first to float between all units and sister facilities as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system for accurate documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments using the Omnicell dispensing system and Alaris IV pumps.
