About The Position

Villas of Holly Brook is hiring a full-time float-pool nurse to work across its 27 locations in Central and Southern Illinois. The employee uses the same company policies and computer system throughout their employment. The role is for a licensed RN or LPN who supports the company’s philosophies and provides resident care, operational assistance to the Wellness Director, and support to staff. The nurse is responsible for implementing, delivering, and coordinating care services in the community and may coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

Hold an RN or LPN license to practice as required by state regulations.
Have experience in direct patient care and in assessing and observing clinical conditions.
Be CPR certified and have knowledge of basic first aid.
Complete all state-required training to maintain licensure.
Be able to work flexible hours due to the demands of the position.
Work weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising the medication program and medication-room activities, and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
Report significant incidents and changes in residents’ needs to the Executive Director or Wellness Director.
Assist with completing resident assessments and service plans.
Assist with training assisted living staff and participate in new-staff orientation.
Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
Assist with scheduling and staffing caregivers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
