About The Position

Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network is seeking a full-time Float Physical Therapist to provide outpatient rehabilitation services across locations in Central Connecticut. The role offers clinical variety across patient populations and specialty programs, with opportunities to broaden clinical skills while working alongside experienced therapists and orthopedic specialists. Locations include New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Southington, Bristol, and North Haven. The clinic schedule is Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.; the position requires two opening and two closing shifts per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited APTA program.
• Current Connecticut Physical Therapy license.
• Ability to travel between multiple outpatient locations throughout Central Connecticut.

• Previous outpatient experience.
• Interest in developing expertise across multiple specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy across multiple locations in Central Connecticut.
• Treat patients in specialties including orthopedics and post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, neurologic and movement disorders, and balance and gait dysfunction.
• Collaborate with experienced therapists, orthopedic specialists, and teams across multiple locations.
