About The Position

As a Registered Nurse on the Float/Flex Team, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients’ well-being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment focused on patient outcomes. The position calls for reliability, a positive attitude, strong assessment and critical-thinking skills, and a patient-first mindset. The role includes performing complete and ongoing patient assessments, recognizing significant changes in patient status and seeking appropriate resources, coordinating or collecting physiologic monitoring data, and documenting assessments in accordance with hospital policy. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; nursing diploma required upon hire.
Registered Nurse license in Arkansas required upon hire.
Basic Life Support (CPR) required upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 12 months.
PRN positions require one year of recent bedside or specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Perform complete patient assessments.
Recognize significant changes in patient status and seek appropriate resources.
Coordinate or collect physiologic monitoring data, including vital signs, monitor results, and laboratory and diagnostic test results.
Perform ongoing assessments according to unit policy.
Document assessments in compliance with hospital policy.
Maintain a plan of care.
Provide individualized, comprehensive patient care and perform skilled procedures.
Implement patient care plans.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
