This position is for an experienced Float Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver flexible, high-quality care across South and Central New Jersey locations, including Hamilton, Ewing, Voorhees, Cherry Hill, and Willingboro, with potential coverage in New York and other New Jersey sites. This is a part-time role, scheduled for 24 hours per week, offering smaller patient panels, longer appointment times (20-60 minutes), a strong focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and fewer administrative tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume and billing. The role requires a flexible schedule, availability to cover shifts at short notice for absent teammates or position vacancies, and travel to various locations within the state and/or region, adapting to diverse work settings and collaborating with different teams to ensure continuity of work processes.

Requirements

  • Active license & current ANCC or AANP board certification required
  • CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date

Nice To Haves

  • Independent practice provider preferred, where applicable per State regulation
  • Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability
  • Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visit, preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver flexible, high-quality care across South and Central New Jersey locations, and potentially New York and New Jersey sites
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across a varied schedule
  • Practice relationship-based medicine at the top of your license
  • Offer wholistic care including prevention, chronic disease management and health education to your patients
  • Remain a flexible schedule, available to cover shifts for absent teammate members as well as position vacancies, at a moment’s notice
  • Travel to various locations when needed (within the same state, or in multiple states)
  • Adapt to various work settings
  • Ensure continuity of work processes and procedures and ensure consistency with follow-through and/or transitioning tasks when needed
