About The Position
Float Medical Assistant (MA) – Primary Care Location: Coverage across Mahoning and Trumbull counties Status: Full-Time | 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8s or 4x10s) | No evenings or weekends! Requirements
- 1+ years of direct patient care experience.
- Exceptional customer service, the ability to multitask in fast-paced clinics, and proficiency in medical record databases.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant schooling is a plus, but we welcome all candidates with relevant, hands-on healthcare experience.
- Experience as an STNA, Phlebotomist, CNA, or Pharmacy Tech.
Responsibilities
- Lead patient intake by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, recording medications, and processing lab specimens across multiple primary care locations.
- Schedule procedures and surgeries, coordinate with surgical vendors, and manage physician block times.
- Ensure data integrity within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and seamlessly manage complex insurance authorizations.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold all OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
