Float Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN
About The Position
The Float Licensed Practical Nurse supports staffing needs across multiple communities and must demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and travel. The role oversees medication distribution according to physician orders and community medication-management documentation and procedures, with a steadfast focus on resident safety. After assessing residents, the nurse creates personalized service plans that support individual care needs, independence, and dignity. The nurse also facilitates communication among physicians, healthcare providers, and families regarding residents’ physical, mental, and social well-being, contributes to quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, and participates in ongoing learning and development.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Valid driver’s license, as travel may be required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities

- Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities.
