About The Position

Hands at Home Care Services is hiring Full-Time Float Caregivers in the Portland and surrounding areas. This is a guaranteed-hours position, meaning if a client shift cancels, you still get paid. This role offers stability, flexibility, and respect for your time. As a Full-Time Caregiver, you will provide personal care and assistance with daily activities, companionship and light homemaking, and coverage support for clients when regular caregivers are unavailable. This role is ideal for caregivers who enjoy variety and meeting different clients, want reliable income without worrying about cancellations, and are comfortable traveling within a defined service area. When client hours are light, you will still be paid through training, shadowing, or support work to meet your weekly guarantee.

Requirements

• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or facility)
• PSS or CNA certification required. (We’ll pay for you to get your PSS certificate if you don't have one)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
• Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Flu within past 12 months)
