About The Position

This float position requires 24/7 availability to work as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver with AbleLight, a Non-Profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals. The role involves providing support, building relationships, and making a difference in the lives of the people AbleLight serves. As a float DSP, you will be responsible for filling gaps in schedules, which may include first, second, and overnight shifts. Schedules are provided two weeks in advance. The position requires the ability to travel to Coon Rapids, Andover, Ham Lake, Blaine, and Maple Grove. This is a part-time position, with scheduled hours less than 30 per week. AbleLight also offers Any Day Pay, allowing employees to access their earned pay on the same day.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age, or older
Must possess a valid driver's license that is currently in good standing with a good record
Ability to pass background check
Open Availability
Ability to travel to Coon Rapids, Andover, Ham Lake, Blaine & Maple Grove

Responsibilities

Providing direct support, positive direction, and assistance to individuals of all ages, allowing them to be more effective in their everyday life
Helping residents with dining, mobility, health and hygiene activities
Accompanying individuals while running errands
Attending special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games and social events
Assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires
Enhancing the lives of individuals in every way possible
