About The Position

In this role, you’ll support patients and providers across multiple health centers—helping create a safe, respectful, and efficient experience wherever you’re scheduled. You’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality sexual and reproductive health care—while helping ensure consistency and strong patient care across all locations.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel to all PPCW health centers
• Must reside in the Portland Metro area
• Must have reliable transportation and active insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
• Strong communication skills with diverse patients and teams
• Comfort working independently and as part of different teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a medical setting or working directly with patients
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or CNA certification
• Bilingual Spanish skills

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing
• Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease
• Adapt quickly to different clinic teams, workflows, and environments
