About The Position

In this role, you’ll be part of the clinical team supporting patients through their visit—helping create a safe, respectful, and efficient experience from start to finish. You’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality sexual and reproductive health care, while helping ensure every patient is treated with dignity and respect. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) at our Milwaukie Health Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and coworkers
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to reliably work the specified schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:30am - 7:30pm; Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm; Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a medical setting or working directly with patients
• Mandarin language skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or CNA certification

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing
• Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease
• Work closely with your team to keep the clinic running smoothly
