As a JSX Flight Attendant, you will create a simple, reliable, and joyful experience for each of our Customers, while keeping safety in mind. You will gain knowledge of the proper use of the cabin equipment and controls. You will be highly knowledgeable about the assignments, functions, and responsibilities during a ditching and evacuation of persons who may need special assistance.

Requirements

  • Willing to be based in White Plains, NY (HPN)
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of face-to-face Customer Service
  • Strong verbal communicator and fluent in English
  • A current and valid Driver’s license is required.
  • A current and valid Passport is required.
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Must be between 5’0” and 5’8” without shoes, due to the size of our aircraft.
  • Able to sit comfortably in the assigned jumpseat without an extension or modification.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Flight Attendant.
  • Ability to speak and communicate in another language.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the aircraft is clean, fully stocked, and prepped for Customer boarding.
  • Checking that all emergency equipment, life vests, oxygen masks, and other supplies are present and in proper working order.
  • Conducting or verifying safety briefings during boarding and pre-flight.
  • Securing the cabin and confirming with the Captain that the aircraft is ready for departure.
  • Providing attentive service to Customers and Crew while staying vigilant and prepared to respond to any situation.
  • Applying training and remaining calm, confident, and ready to assist with professionalism and care during routine duties and emergency scenarios.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, technical developments, etc).
