About The Position

USAA is seeking a Flight Attendant for the San Antonio Hangar. This role performs duties as a third crew member in corporate aircraft, adhering to FAR 91 and USAA Flight Operations' procedures. The Flight Attendant is responsible for all in-flight services and ground-based preparations to ensure passengers have a safe and comfortable air travel experience. This position offers a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office and is based in San Antonio, TX, with relocation assistance available.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Previous Flight Attendant Career Training School (FACTs) or equivalent training in cabin safety and emergency procedures.
  • 4 or more years of flight attendant experience, preferably in a Corporate Flight Operation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides aircraft cabin service in a professional, polite and courteous manner to maximize passenger and crew comfort, safety and well being.
  • Coordinates flight catering and beverage requirements, and ensures aircraft and commissary is properly stocked.
  • Conducts cabin safety briefings with passengers to familiarize them with all safety precautions and emergency procedures.
  • Assists passengers with boarding, deplanement and baggage removal.
  • Performs administrative and other operational duties as assigned by the Director, Flight Operations.
  • Communicates with senior company executives and Board Members.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
