About The Position

USAA is seeking a Flight Attendant for the San Antonio Hangar. This role performs duties as a third crew member in corporate aircraft, adhering to FAR 91 and USAA Flight Operations' procedures. The Flight Attendant is responsible for all in-flight services and ground-based preparations to ensure passengers have a safe and comfortable air travel experience. This position offers a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office and is based in San Antonio, TX, with relocation assistance available.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
Previous Flight Attendant Career Training School (FACTs) or equivalent training in cabin safety and emergency procedures.
4 or more years of flight attendant experience, preferably in a Corporate Flight Operation environment.

Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations

Responsibilities

Provides aircraft cabin service in a professional, polite and courteous manner to maximize passenger and crew comfort, safety and well being.
Coordinates flight catering and beverage requirements, and ensures aircraft and commissary is properly stocked.
Conducts cabin safety briefings with passengers to familiarize them with all safety precautions and emergency procedures.
Assists passengers with boarding, deplanement and baggage removal.
Performs administrative and other operational duties as assigned by the Director, Flight Operations.
Communicates with senior company executives and Board Members.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
