About The Position

AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. This position is based in our satellite production facility in Midland, TX , with full relocation provided (details below). Position Summary AST SpaceMobile is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Flight Assurance Administrative Specialist to support our engineering team. In this role, you’ll help keep critical documentation, audits, and project tracking organized in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Your work will directly support the safety, quality, and success of satellite programs. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and able to work on-site
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or coursework in business, aviation, or a related field
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with document control, audits, or compliance processes
• Experience supporting engineering or technical teams

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain important documents and records for engineering and compliance
• Ensure files are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
• Keep logs and tracking systems up to date
• Help prepare materials for internal and external audits
• Schedule meetings, organize documents, and support audit readiness
• Track follow-ups and make sure action items are completed
• Maintain a list of open issues, tasks, or requirements that need to be completed
• Monitor progress and follow up with team members when items are overdue
• Provide simple reports to keep the team informed during meetings
• Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and track action items
• Support data entry and spreadsheet tracking (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Assist with communication, scheduling, and coordination across teams
• Help ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time
