This role involves operating various types of printing machines, preparing and mounting printing plates and rollers, and mixing inks to achieve desired color specifications. The operator will use automatic inspection systems, determine print job quantities, and align and configure machinery. Quality control is a key aspect, including inspecting random production samples, conducting regular quality checks for clarity, color accuracy, and defects, and ensuring printed materials meet customer specifications. The position also requires troubleshooting and performing basic repairs and routine maintenance on printing machines. Additionally, the operator will draft and submit reports for daily production totals, maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and quality control data, and keep the work area clean. Adherence to GMP requirements and Cardinal Safety Rules is mandatory, along with performing other related duties as assigned. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, a positive attitude, and safety awareness are essential.
