About The Position

The Flexo Folder Gluer Operator sets up, operates, and monitors flexo folder gluer and rotary die cutter machinery. The operator is responsible for productivity, quality, and waste, and serves as the crew leader during training. The role is at the company's Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility on the third shift.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a machine operator.
Strong knowledge of machinery troubleshooting.
At least 6 months of packaging or printing experience with a Flexo Folder Gluer or Rotary Die Cutter.
Strong safety background.
Good attendance record.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to understand, execute, and provide verbal and written instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills and ability to accurately complete required computer and paperwork tasks.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor flexo folder gluer and rotary die cutter machinery.
Lead the crew during the training process.
Mount printing and cutting dies to cylinders or shafts.
Mix and adjust ink viscosity.
Perform quality checks on each order.
Verify materials against customer requirements before running.
Work with the team to meet daily goals.
Accurately record production data in a computer daily.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and housekeeping.
Follow established processes, procedures, and safety rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
