About The Position

The Flexo Folder Gluer Helper supports operation of a Flexo machine by setting up rails, print, and the die-cut section using proper setup techniques. The role monitors product and equipment quality, assists other machine team members, completes production and safety documentation, and helps maintain safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, during the week and on weekends.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with team members.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
Six months of experience working on a Flexo machine.

Responsibilities

Set up rails, print, and the die-cut section on the Flexo machine using proper setup techniques.
Inspect dies before and after each run and ensure necessary repairs are made before the next run.
Ensure all cutting-die bolts are present and tightly secured.
Monitor box quality, including loose liner, warp, size, and print.
Check rolls for damage.
Operate machinery at available capacity and speed to maximize equipment utilization.
Assist the Operator, Assistant Operator, and Utility with machine duties.
Complete production data, machine operational status, safety data, and quality data reports accurately and on time.
Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
Follow company policies and procedures, including safety requirements and good housekeeping.
Follow the production schedule and recommend schedule optimizations to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
Report unusual scheduling issues to the Supervisor.
