About The Position

The Flexo Folder Gluer Operator is responsible for following all safety rules and practices, learning customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards and design specifications. This role involves coordinating activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders, maintaining quality and production standards, and performing set up functions as directed by the operator. The operator will continually monitor the quality and quantity of production, use available time to prepare for set ups and runs, and perform assigned clean up functions. Additionally, the role includes performing minor cutting die repairs, quality inspections and tests with recording of findings, and learning press operator duties and responsibilities. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
• One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.

• Perform minor cutting die repairs.
• Perform quality inspections and tests and recording findings.
• Learn press operator duties and responsibilities.
• Follow prescribed practices in all circumstances.
