Quality Packaging Inc. is seeking a dependable Folder Gluer Operator for their 1st shift. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in their manufacturing facility. Requirements

  • Previous experience operating or assisting with folder-gluer equipment (DGM/Diana highly preferred).
  • Ability to read a standard/metric ruler and understand basic technical PDF drawings.
  • Solid basic math skills required daily for counting and machine adjustments.
  • A rock-solid attendance history is absolutely non-negotiable.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing setting.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate folder gluer machines (DGM and Diana) according to strict job specifications with minimal waste.
  • Read, interpret, and follow production tickets and customer specifications accurately.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs to keep machine downtime low.
  • Inspect products for gluing and folding defects while packing by accurate counts.
  • Complete job tickets and daily recap forms precisely.
  • Keep workspace clean, organized, and tour-ready every day.
  • Meet production targets by hitting and maintaining established hourly piece rates.
