Flex Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Class A CDL truck drivers for regional assignments at various locations as needed. Drivers make multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unload trailers with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Drivers travel to an assigned location and work there for the duration of each assignment. Travel may be required up to 100 percent, and dispatch times vary by assignment. Drivers operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The position requires safe operation, customer service, and representing Penske and its clients. Pay is up to $120,000 annually, with additional performance incentives of up to $10,400 annually. A driver referral bonus of up to $5,000 per referral is also offered.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in the state of residence.
Currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
One year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last three years, or two years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last five years.
Three-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
English language proficiency, as required by federal law.
Ability to work the required schedule and at the specific assigned location.
Complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely; associates are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.
Ability to see and hear, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
