About The Position
This is a safety-sensitive position. The FLEX TEAM role involves a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, merchandise handling, and customer service. Responsibilities include pulling orders, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, scanning items into inventory, preparing items for restocking, processing returned merchandise, performing furniture repair, managing parts orders, and assisting customers with loading vehicles. The role also requires unboxing items, inspecting furniture for quality and defects, staging items for delivery, processing re-picks, and managing trash removal. Additionally, the position involves receiving and processing transfers, checking daily closing assignments, and maintaining excellent customer relations.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass lift truck Licensing test (written and physical)
- Must weigh less than 300 lbs. (manufacturer requirement)
- Tugger and scissor lift Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities

- Dispositioning returned merchandise

- Entering/processing parts orders
- Loading customers vehicles
- Unboxing items with proper technique
- Inspecting furniture for damage, functionality, defects, imperfections
- Staging items for delivery
- Removal and proper processing of items from delivery zones using a scan gun
- Processing re-picks for delivery loadout
- Removing trash from work areas
- Removing trash from external property
- Receiving/processing transfers
- Checking daily closing assignments
- Use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
