About The Position

This is a Safety Sensitive position for the Flex Team, operating on a 10:45 AM - 7 PM shift. The role involves a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, merchandise handling, and customer service. Performance-based pay is offered in addition to the base rate.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
Must be able to pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical)
Must weigh less than 300 lbs (manufacturer requirement)
Tugger and scissor lift Certification
Knowledge of safe operation of a delivery box truck
Knowledge of state and local motor vehicle safety laws
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Positive attitude when working with customers
Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures
Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures

Responsibilities

Pulling orders and stocking inbound merchandise
Unloading trucks and scanning merchandise into inventory
Wrapping items for restock and dispositioning returned merchandise
Performing furniture repair and entering/processing parts orders
Loading customer vehicles and unboxing items with proper technique
Inspecting furniture for damage, functionality, defects, and imperfections
Staging items for delivery contractors and removing/processing items from delivery zones using a scan gun
Processing re-picks for contractor loadout
Removing trash from work areas and external property
Receiving and processing transfers
Checking daily closing assignments
Utilizing excellent customer relations with internal and external customers
Performing other duties as directed by management
