About The Position
Per Mar Security Services is seeking flex security officers in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area. Flex officers work temporary accounts and cover call-offs, vacations, FMLA, and other temporary employee vacancies. This is an as-needed position, and available hours depend on current operational needs and may fluctuate. The pay range is $16.00–$20.00+ per hour, determined by the assigned work site. Officers must attend a one-day orientation and training at the Cedar Rapids office. Occasional travel is required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A valid driver's license is required because many accounts involve driving.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle history check, and drug screen.
- Must agree to attend a one-day orientation and training in the Cedar Rapids office.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability, including weekends; most coverage is needed on second and third shifts.
