About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Flex Security Officer – Response to provide security coverage that varies by day and special event. Duties may include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. The position is based in Livermore, California, and requires flexible availability, including weekends. Listed schedules are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The pay is $21 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Requirements

Authorization to work in the United States.
Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of security officer experience.
Valid California driver’s license.
Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
Responsive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
Flexible availability, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
A state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training. Additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Monitor the premises to ensure security.
Conduct foot patrols or patrols in a company vehicle to identify suspicious activity.
Control access points and verify identities.

Provide customer service while maintaining security.
