About The Position

FLEX is a leadership development program within Cisco’s People, Policy, and Purpose Organization (3P). The FLEX internship is designed to preview Cisco’s full-time rotational program. As a FLEX-RL intern, you will take part in a 12-week program, supporting a key project and working with your cohort on a team sprint. Participants are placed on projects within 3P, which may include People & Communities (HR), Policy, or Purpose teams. These areas include functions such as HR business partnering, compensation, workforce planning and analytics, talent acquisition, learning and development, government affairs, strategy and planning, Country Digital Acceleration, ESG, social impact and inclusion, and real estate. FLEX-RL participants join Cisco as People Consultants. They work on a 12-week project in a key business area and collaborate with their cohort on a high-value Summer Sprint project for a key stakeholder group, culminating in a presentation to Cisco leadership. Participants also build relationships with senior leaders, managers, cross-functional teams, and the FLEX community, and take part in community programming, professional development workshops, function-specific training, and business seminars.
