About The Position

FLEX is a three-year leadership development program within Cisco’s People, Policy, and Purpose (3P) Organization. Participants begin as People and Communities Representatives and complete rotations across the 3P organization, generally lasting 12 months, with rotations ranging from 3 to 12 months. Initial onboarding introduces participants to Cisco and 3P and helps them explore opportunities for the start of their program journey. Rotations may include People and Communities (HR), such as HR Business Partners, Compensation, Workforce Planning and Analytics, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Employee Relations; the Policy organization, including Government Affairs; and the Purpose organization, including Strategy and Planning, Country Digital Acceleration, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Social Impact and Inclusion, and Real Estate. After completing the program, graduates move into full-time roles across 3P based on their career goals and interests. Participants work on business-value projects and individual stretch assignments, collaborate with leaders and cross-functional colleagues, contribute to the FLEX community, and take part in professional development workshops, function-specific training, and business seminars.
