About The Position

The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites relating to personnel, visitors, and the area. The role includes conflict resolution and de-escalation, customer service, conducting property tours, and completing assigned rounds and post orders. Flex Officers use technology devices throughout their shifts and carry out other tasks of a similar nature and scope as required at their assigned site.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to help maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Use technology devices throughout the shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
• Respond to emergencies using rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
