Flex Multi-Site Security Officer
About The Position
The Flex Multi-Site Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites related to personnel, visitors, and the area. The role involves frequent interactions with client employees and guests, conflict resolution and de-escalation, identifying and reporting safety concerns or suspicious activity, completing assigned rounds and property tours, and using technology during shifts. Officers also provide customer service and perform other tasks of similar nature and scope as required at assigned sites. The position is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and pays $18.00–$20.00 per hour. The officer must be available to work two of three shifts; open availability is greatly desired.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work two of three shifts; open availability is greatly desired.
- Security experience required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor client premises, including access control and patrols across a variety of locations.
- Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
- Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
- Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
- Use technology devices throughout the shift.
- Conduct tours of the property.
- Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
